VSHosting is currently the biggest provider of managed server services in the Czech and Slovak Republic. VSH was established in 2006 and today it nurtures almost 4,000 servers of major Czech and foreign (European) Internet projects. Web servers, for which VSHosting provides operation, include for example ČSFD.cz, big news servers, such e-shops as Okay, Euronics, Parfums and hundreds of other e-shops, bank servers as well as such companies as Baťa or RWE.
In December 2014 VSHosting as the first Czech company officially entered the biggest data exchange node in the world – DE-CIX, where the biggest amount of data exchanges between the world´s leading telecommunication operators occurs (over 3,500 gigabites per second, which is approximately ten times more than in NIX, the Czech data node). Thus, VSHosting has become the first Czech company providing Internet hosting services with a global impact. The company has been growing as quickly as by 30% on a year-to-year basis and this growth will further accelerate considering the aggressive foreign expansion to the U.S. Here, in the U.S. state of Texas, VSHosting has been implemening a project with the similar technical background since 2013. South America, in particular Brazil, is the next planned destination of the foreign expansion of the company.
Last year (2015) VSHosting opened its own ServerPark data center in Prague, which is – from the point of view of the technological standard – currently the most modern data center in Central Europe. Abroad it will operate from its technologically superior “Datafoundry” data center in Austin, where it will have data stored in hundreds to thousands of servers.
